Thanks for the comment. I only have 3 Tokina MF lenses and I must say they are pretty good, definitely better than the Sigma lenses I have colour-wise. Very robust build quality, no cheap plastic lens elements that's for sure. Best thing was I got them pretty cheap... :bsmilie:

The Tokina AT-X 80-200 f2.8 and AT-X 100-300 f4 are pretty good. The AT-X 28-70 f2.6-2.8 is another good one but with the crop factor, the focal range can be a little short.

What I find about this lense is though the focus is quieter and smoother.. but I find that the focus wasn't as fast as I thought it would be. Nonetheless, its a very good lense... 8:thumbsup:/10:thumbsup:

Nice captures! The AF speed is indeed not super fast, but it's very smooth and quite, might make you feel it's faster ;) It's a better lens between the two (DA* lenses) ...

It looks like a very fun concert, I'm sure my daughter would love it. She tells me about the Hi-5 she's been watching at the kindergarten all the time :D

Nice... How did you exposure for 8s without a tripod?
Found a railing/statue/dustbin/etc?

Nope. Hand held..I am superman!!!
J/K.

I kept it on the stone seat at the edge of the pool. I was a bit worried about knocking it into the water, so I left the strap around my neck :bsmilie:

Yeah, haha, my daughter is crazy over them too. I think they come every year, next year buy tickets early then u can get the good front seats in front, can snap closeup better. Kids go crazy with the dancing , esp when they are LIVE in front of you!

Hi Dennis
These are great! Taken in raw or jpg? On tripod? Tungsten WB?
Care to share your settings? I have taken shots from these angles before but they do not come as sharp or has a strong orangy tinge.
cheers
