Sometimes I'm thinking to get such a lens or a longer 400/5.6.:think: Anyway i can't afford right now.:(

Well, your 300/4.5 plus a 1.4X TC would make it to 420mm :D

You did well for 1st try^^ IIRC, a friend told me that Lundy (Clubpets Magazine photographer) told her that JRT are the hardest to capture:sweat:

Thanks! After meeting this guy, I'm not surprised that a Clubpet magazine photographer would say that.... I didn't do my homework (on JRTs) before going, didn't quite know what I was in for.

Fav activities... grabbing things and running circles around people

The JRT dun happen to be named dandan or ginger?

That Jack Russell looks like its got pretty long legs, and the proportions look unusual, like it was crossed with another breed. JRTs aren't a low maintenance breed. They need lots of exercise and they do shed quite a bit. :o But if you want an active breed, you can't ask for more.

that also a reason why there are so many JRTs abandoned and over at SPCA... so cute so cute and then realise they're devils in a small package... :bsmilie:

Nope, they call him Max.

Not sure if he's a pure bred, they got him from someone else as a 6 weeks old puppy. I didn't ask too much about the details, since I don't know much about dogs, I just like to play with them ;)

IIRC ginger and dandan is like Max, body white with little or no patches. Pure breed or not doesn't really matter for house pet^^ I'd seen some JRT with longer legs also, also seen 12+kg ones too^^; I love JRT that likes to clean my face:bsmilie:

lol I just can't resist myself^^;

Nice shots. Pardon me, but are u from Malaysia?

I rarely give C&C, but IMHO try to keep the eyes sharp. You can try selective spot focusing. Also try to bring out the colors more or if you do not wanna change the color, try to give more depth by enhancing the shadow.

Nope, born and bred in SG.

Thank you for your input, the eyes and shadows are areas I'm trying to improve. All the PP reference books says use the sharpen tools for the eyes, but i can't seem to see any difference. As for the shadows.... working on my flash-work to solve that.

I hope u dun mind, but this is what I got from using a few actions in my personal action list^^;

Edit: Not sure which camera you are using, but if it's K10D and K20D, I suggest for strobist to learn using the temperature WB.

If you don't mind, care to share where to get the action list? or even the steps for the PP?

I prefer to make my shots dark to add more drama, but tend to lose colour vibrancy this way. You gotta tell how you do it, bro!

BTW, I'm using the k100D Super, dun think there is manual color temperature option there. Always set to flash WB for strobist work. If there is, have no idea where it is.
