50% of the reason why my presence here has been sporadic over the last 5 months.
;p
Will try to take and post more pictures, but he's been keeping his 2 inexperienced parents really busy.

Wow, another Pentax baby moment.
Congratulations to you and your wife Alan. Can see he looks quite like you.
I know it is an exciting and tiring time, but if you can squeeze some time off and join us at this week-end's photo shoot, I'm sure you'll get the chance to receive plenty of fatherly advice. :)

Thanks, Dennis.
Wish I could, and collect my t-shirt too...
But I don't think my wife will appreciate me disappearing for > 30mins on a weekend at this point.
Probably join you guys again in a month or so, after she's more comfortable with handling the kid alone.
Plus you guys know that macro (esp. insects) is really not my thing... :sticktong

Alan, congratulations on the new born baby boy. I was wondering where you have disappeared to for so long also. Very nice and beautiful moment you have captured. Thanks for sharing.:D

Something I tried one late afternoon when I had free time. But getting the exposure right is quite a challenge as you can see... First try lah, not sure how to do it right. But can't try too often, wasting shutter count on my precious K20D...

Watch in HD on Youtube, it's nicer :)

gengh: that's cool! but heart pain about the shutter count eh ;)

Thanks guy :) Saw one of the time lapse videos in the video showcase subforum and got inspired to try. But it's strange that K20D's intervalometer is limited to only 99 shots, way too few to compile a video with. In the end it was still better to manually press the cable release at regular intervals. Shutter count wise.... must just bear with it lah! :bsmilie:

Ian, tried to shot model for 1 body with DA*300, love to see the bokeh...

Congrats on your new and cute cygnet, Mr Swan! :)
Now you have a ready made model to work on...one who does not complain or run around while you make the necessary settings on your DSLR! ;)
