200mm (fix) is my favorite range for outdoor model shot, it gives very perfect perspective dan bokeh.
Too bad, I don't have DA* 200mm (expensive lens and can't find one in my country), this is the most wanted lens for me, many nice shots will come from this lens.

Huuhuhu...
I am soooooooooooooo envy with DA*200mm's owners (you are lucky owners), sometime in my envious, I would not open the DA*200mm samples threads, lol....

Here are from my old manual lens, Hoya 200mm /F3.5 @F5.6 + K10D.
My uncle gave me, he bought this lens more than 30 years ago in Singapore for his Pentax KX.

kesha, a warm welcome to you and I have to say your portraits are stunning.
Simply excellent photography and I'm sure we can all learn from the quality of your pictures... I've definitely learnt something looking at your pictures already!!!

the location is in Curug Nangka - Bogor - Jakarta - Indonesia.

All available light, no strobe, no reflector.

I am curious.
If no strobe & no reflector but with available light, you meant natural lighting?
Being at a water fall area, there must be quite substantial of overhanging vegetations. I can’t help it but noticed there weren’t any shadows.
Mind sharing how did you managed?:)

Ben, the waterfall is far from my home, I went there with my wife only.
That is a natural waterfall.
Yes, I brought lightstand, softbox 40x60 with hammerhead flash, for photos, thanks to my wife, she was bravely enough to help me to carry the stuffs :D.

For FA50mm/F1.4 series, I didn't use any softbox, I don't have any reflector, just my lucky shots :)
I opened the aperture @2.5, I hope I got bright background and blurry, with the slower speed, for the waterfall's water effect, which I thought 1/50" was enough to meet my need.

Here is another waterfall (Curug Luhur), not far from Curug Nangka Waterfall.

K10D + Tamron 70-300 Di LD.
Shot with small aperture as I can, I hope I can get the wide DOF.

It's wonderful your wife share the same passion and produced beautiful pictures.

The only "waterfall" is Singapore is at the Bird Park or we head north to Kota Tinggi in Johore. :)

how much is cost to enter Jurong Bird Park?

My wife thinks they don't look nice when they smile like this :D

thanks for Darren, who was telling me about the DA55-300 price in singapore.

Ben Loke , the place was not at Jurong or SG.

Fangwei, you have very cute childrens, I have 2 daughters too, I will post their photos soon.

Thanks. And your daughters are really cute and beautiful too :)

nice moment of your beautiful kids. I'm always trying to catch such moments with my kids too but they are too fast for me!:)

Thanks Richard :) I guess they've seen me having a camera pointing at them ever since they were born, they kinda got used to it. But most time they are not so cooperative. It all depends their mood, and mine too ;)

thanks for the link, Fangwei.

I will come with my Nikon friend, just two uf us.

Wellcome Kesha to CS.

I've seen your postings in dpreview, and your pictures are outstanding.
When I come to Jakarta, can I look you up? :)
