Reflexion

K20D w fisheye 10-17, taken at Vivo City on a rainy morning on Monday

Congrats guys, after the first and last time I completed the 21km, I told myself never again, unless someone points a gun at my head to do it! Couldn't walk properly for the whole day after that. :embrass:

Thanks :) I still have some problem walking downstairs now. Could barely walk around yesterday ...

Wahlau, man! Those are abs of steel indeed! You are now my official idol. That's an amazing timing.

Erm, I just checked the ridiculously detailed stats - I finished among last 4% of 21km runners, and 90% of women runners in this group also finished ahead of me. Now, to hide my face..

If checking the statics, I didn't do any better either I guess :embrass: But I feel pretty happy since I made it to the finish line. Thought about quitting several times along the way, but I'm glad I made it again this time :) My first time was 3hr23min, second time was 3hr38min. Hope next time I could get into 4hr mark again.

Nice capture  I was there several years ago, pretty nice view from there.

10km is the max i can go... my heart wants to run but my knees says no... the yrs of walking during army takes its tolls on my right knee... :(

...monterey...

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

take pride that you managed to accomplish what you set out to achieve.. completing 21km is a feat in itself, you should not get discouraged by ppl who ran longer or faster. i bet you felt shag, tired, thirsty, dying, etc just like they did. and just like them you overcame those challenges.

i keep telling myself i need to go train up and regain fitness, but nothing much has been done.. :nono: haha so i had to resort to shooting flowers while you had some silverware to photograph and showcase!

Haha, thanks!

Wish I have stamina to run + carry my DSLR at same time! Some chaps did, according to reportage forum threads.. the kind of madness I want to do also.

Well, everyone can run. Just take the first step.. literally. :)

Very sweet girl you shot from Laos, le petit prince.

Some of my kids shots from Laos to share too..

all with DS + FA50 f/1.4.

Great colours, and eye contact for 2 of them!

DS + FA50.. that sure makes for a lightweight, compact kit.

Woah, I like this one, the blue really stands out. Too bad they don't allow us to take pictures like this in Raffles Marina...

Holy cow...you can see the famous hong kong smog very clearly in the picture. I can't really tell on the ground when I was there previously.
Interesting and nice shot, Bernard.

Nice image Bernard! From an old favourite, the venerable K100D...:)
Such deep blue sky! If it were like this in Singapore for only a few nights a month, I can finally take out my 8" Astronomical telescope and make full use of it.;)
