Great image, Gengh! Another gem from the * lens! I was there last week with my Pentax Optio A30 but not able to get many good shots. Wished I had brought my K200D along then.

Did you try a shot with WB corrected or set to "Tungsten"?
For this type of lighting, normally I try the various options and pick the best one. I think most here like to take in raw , though.

Beautiful! Like the Mars Rover's view of sunset. Its your usual HDR shot? So much details in the shadow areas.

this is rather, DRI

i had two jpg shots, one for the sky ahead, one for the pier

stack in photoshop and erase to reveal the correct details. gnd was used here, if not need more than 2 shots
