Nasty CA, but well have to live with it.

cheers!

Nice shot! Almost got a same lens, but decided against it due to its size and weight. Glad to see someone here at the Forum has this lens on a Pentax :)

Thanks for sharing.

Wow... What lenses did you use for those shots? :)

So close ;)

Thanks. It's the Sigma 70-300mm. It's pretty soft so USM is required.:bsmilie: Had a hard time with AF540GFZ P-TTL, ended up I switch it to manual and adjust the ISO & F to get the right exposure. Feels like using old manual flash:bsmilie:

BTW I can let you try 70-300mm next time we meet when you get your K100D back.

Very nice bird photos  I used to have an earlier Sigma 70-300 Super APO Macro lens, and it performs quite okay at a place like the bird park (where you can get quite close to those beautiful birds).

Thanks for sharing.

Need to wait also. Not advise to bring kids ;)

One look at the macaw pics and you can immediately tell a flash unit has been used.

Our son just turned 1yr a couple of days ago. Here are some photos I took on that day:
