Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yields about 40 small cookies

125g Butter
70g Castor sugar
70g Brown sugar
½ tsp Vanilla essence
1 Egg
260g Self-raising flour
130g Chocolate chips (Add more if you like more choc chips)

Pre-heat oven to 180C.
Sift the flour, set aside.
Beat butter, essence and sugars using mixer until smooth.
Add egg and beat until well combined.
Stir in sifted flour and the remaining ingredients.
Take rounded teaspoons of mixture and roll into balls.
Place balls about 4cm apart on slightly greased oven trays or line with baking sheet.
Bake in pre heated oven for 15 minutes or until browned.
Cool in trays for short while and transfer to wire rack for cooling.

NICE! When I was young, I used to watch my sister bake cookies. But the oven spoilt now -_-

Damn....

Shouldn't be looking at these images at lunch time.

I vote this one the 'Best in thread' so far.

Only thing I would look out for is the selection of cookies.

CHEERS!

Hmm... my first uploaded picture...

this was taken about a couple years ago with a handphone cam i think. Haven't gotten my DSLR yet then, so pardon the 'non sharpness'

Thought I should at least post a picture or two in this thread. =P

A portion of ham and cheese pasta. The ham is cubed from a huge chunk of unsliced ham. I don't remember which variety though.

Oooohhh thanx heaps!

yeah....i was just thinking about whether i will need to purchase a pizza stone..

so basically after making that, i can put on a baking parchment and place it on the cookie tray?

at the lowest or the middle rack?

Thanx heaps!

i put it on the middle rack on a pan that had holes , so that the bottom wouldn't be soggy. probably on a cookie tray it'd be fine but the base might not be as crisp.
and another thing i tried that other people seem to like is using frozen roti pratha as a base for pizza. just top with ingredients and place in the oven at 170 degrees for about 4-5 minutes i think. hope that helped!
