actually, we cook almost everyday at home.... EVEN in Singapore!

I'll try to upload some of our creations when i get back home later....

Sorry for being unable to put up some pictures last night, too concussed after returning home.

Nevertheless, here's what i conjured up for dinner.

Grilled marinated Ocean trout and fennel seared in reduced balsamico and maple syrup.

Okay, another one as promised.

when we missed local food alot, here's what we've to cook....

(okay, for this we cheated....because we couldn't get freshly ground coconut and suntan here, so no choice but to buy the ready spice mix and threw in yoghurt [better than whole milk for the heart])!

another one that is easy to make :-

Duck in orange sauce with spinach

enjoy!

I really salivate!

will your gf be so kind to share the recipe for the base?

and did she use a pizza stone in the oven?

the recipe can be found on my flickr here http://www.flickr.com/photos/colin-fotografia/3335011351/
i found the base a little hard but the ingredients and methods were very simple. and we just baked it in the oven without a pizza stone. hope it helped!

Oooohhh thanx heaps!

yeah....i was just thinking about whether i will need to purchase a pizza stone..

so basically after making that, i can put on a baking parchment and place it on the cookie tray?

at the lowest or the middle rack?

Thanx heaps!

haha...the newspaper as table cloth is a turn off..else, the food looks good !

in relation to this, maybe you would like to checkout www.lyanlex.com and click on "cook" or "eater"

cheers! just sharing :)

those in the first few pages... :)

but seriously, after viewing, I got hungry...damn..

then thats good...both the food and photographs appeal to you...which is exactly what food photography should be.

Other perks will include whether it is "fine dining" experience or suggestiveness of that or whether its a no-fuss cook and eat type.

:)

Coming up........ more pictures to wet your appetite........ (i.e. if i still have the energy to locate the pics)

C'mon, MORE HOMECOOKED FOOD FROM THE OTHERS TOO!
