Bro, beware, looking at the weight of the gears she is carrying, she might blow your ego with her bulging biceps... :bsmilie:

arm wrestler??

Yeah. Still, unless u r really into telephotos, most ppl will stick to lighter glasses if they r holding to a much lighter body.

One reason tat compels me not to get d cv 35-1.2 asph 2 instead. I prefer my setup as light as possible so can I use it more often. Cheers.

between weight & $$.. i dont mind the extra weight than paying much more $$ :bsmilie: its better than carrying DSLR.

I shoot RAW and NEX7 raw is very pale and flat and somewhat soft so you need to process them a bit more :-) for me I try to correct my WB, clean a bit of noise if any, sharpen it a bit and pull the contrast and saturation coz when i compare the NEX7 OOC JPEG is more contrasty, sharper and saturated even in normal settings (I mean NEX7 JPEG vs RAW)

I dont use creative settings once you have a RAW files you can almost do a lot to it.

Totally can understand where r u coming from... used to do tat on RAW when using NEX 7... just kinda got lazy n nowadays just shoot OOC jpegs and use some tablet apps to PP abit... ;)

Yeah... used to use LR... the output from X-E1 OOC Jpegs are just so good... cant really complain and do any PP on for now...

There shouldn't be much difference between jpeg and raw one reason i shoot raw is for WB and skintone. Like i said nex7 ooc jpeg is more contrasty and saturated and sharper ofcourse. All my cams i shoot raw even on olympus. My settings actually is raw+jpeg i use the jpeg as my ref.

And one more reason i dont use ooc jpeg ypu cant turn off the NR on NEX :-( i want to control the NR coz weak is not OFF NR actually.

Is it normal? Hmm...

Yeah when you use LR to import all setting are not included unless you use the Sony stock apps. Thats why the raw file is flat

I din know... LOL...

Sure, Adobe doesn't know how to process the raw the way Sony is doing it. LR needs to replace the preview jpeg because LR wouldn't be able to reproduce the result anyway.

Is it better?

Like bro Albertri says, not much difference, especially since I shoot mostly at ISO200-400. If I nail the shot, my glass usually doesn't need much PP'ing...NR only for heavy crops (with luminance noise in shadow areas); and a touch of unsharp mask. The NEX-7's AWB is the best I've ever used in any camera--assuming one doesn't rush the shot.
