taken w a Leitz (Leica) 135mm F4 Elmar, purchased for $270 over eBay for novelty, cuz wanted to see how sharp even old Leica lens were... it's so retro.. from it's svelte look, to its leather-encased body, to the lanthanum-coated glass....

well, from novelty, it has became an essential telephoto lens in my camera bag. Taking into account that this was made back in the 1960s, even wide open at F4, the sharpness is incredible. Sample photos from the NE show:

This is good stuff... For mere 270 bucks... really a good performer... Cheers.

Not at home now, so can't read exif. If I don't remember wrongly, I shot in shutter priority, 5 to 6 seconds, ISO 100, F9 - 11...

Oh, I was shooting from a MBS room, do there will be light loss from the tinted window ...

Funny thing was that my IR remote was not working, so had to make do with shutter priority, n not bulb mode, so as to minimize camera shake when I tap the shoot button.. In other words, tap once instead of tap twice :(

"5-6sec" is this consider the "time lapse" shooting? cuz ur fireworks looks like a flower n mine looks like fireworks

Err what's time lapse shooting ? I just let the shutter open for 5 seconds to get the 'flower'
