Pictures from Nex-5N

Ok, let's see if we can manage to avoid having at least one photo thread turned into a gearhead discussion . . . :what:

NEX-5N with 100mm f/2.8 APO Elmarit-R . . . at f/5.6, ISO 400, no NR, available light. Tough little body to handle for close-ups, but worth the sweat!

A newbie here. Just got my nex 5n a few weeks back. Loving it so far. Definitely a good upgrade from my Canon 500D. Loving the light weight and compact form.

Just some random shot below. :D

All criticisms are welcome. Be nice please. :)

got the NEX-5N recently as a gift to my wife, but i like it so much that i find myself using it more than her. it is now a constant companion to my Fuji X-Pro1 in my backpack.

bought a 25mm f1.4 CCTV lens to play around with the 5N:

am really happy with result from this lens, but needed some cropping due to vignetting:

haha, welcome to the NEX family... I started with a CCTV 35mm F1.7 lens too... and found myself going deeper and deeper into manual lenses... the NEX-5N is the absolute best camera in the market for MF lenses, because of both focus peaking and touchscreen zoom. Not to mention its excellent sensor.... almost clean images up to ISO 1600..

yup the focus peaking feature is a real winner. i also love the way it handles highlights and details in high contrast scenes, like night lantern shots which came out great!

Die Hard NEX fans... LOL

Hehe, but to love is to accept the downsides.. It's really hard to shoot moving things due to its abysmal AF and with the LCD totally gets swamped in bright sunlight ... But I'm still loving it :)

Haha... d challenge is estimating the distance and pre set your focus distance and wait for the object to come into the focus zone and move wif it adjusting the focusing... I understand y u get lazy... LOL;p
