guys, please give me some advice
planning to get a 50mm prime .. dunno whether to get SEL 50mm or LAEA1 adapter + Minolta f1.7 50mm

Why would you want to get a lens with a different mount + adapter when there is a native lens available?

With adapter, i could go for further alpha lens that's why...
so SEL 50mm would be a good choice then =) thanks for ur advice anyway

Ulitmately, the choice is yours
Just my 2 cents, I suggest you get the adapter if you already had some A-mount lenses which u want to use on your Nex camera.

Just got my Nex 5N on Friday with the dual lens kit. I also got the ultra wide lens converter VCL-EVU 1 for the 16mm pancake. The performance is very impressive though the control and settings are a little bit confusing. Pictures below are taken handheld.

Hi Nex5N users, was testing the 5N at some shops noticed the shutter sound is quite loud as compared with Nex7,
salesman told me it got to do with the lens, any bros find the shutter noise loud. Tks.
