Hi Nex5N users, was testing the 5N at some shops noticed the shutter sound is quite loud as compared with Nex7,
salesman told me it got to do with the lens, any bros find the shutter noise loud. Tks.

Did you turn on electronic first curtain shutter in the set you tested ?

I was thinking of getting an external flash for Cosplay & Event but look like the portable one might not be powerful enough ? :think:

Using a normal flash no doubt it's powerful enough but defeat the purpose..............

No flash used on all the photos. I have the HVLF20S flash. It is great when there is a nearby ceiling to bounce off. I prefer not using the flash if possible, unless I have plenty of time to try out a few shots. Quite hard to use in events because have to be quick to change the flash comp with every change in position/distance..
