Thanks...still not as good as I liked. Tripod too shaky to focus properly. A mirror lens is always wide open, but I am going to explore a way to "stop down" the lens to get greater DOF. The DOF is really really thin. Even at great distances (>100m) you can only get some part sharp with the rest not in focus. But sharpness/details wise, seems to be quite comparable to the Tokina ATX 400mm F5.6 at wide open (if you get the focus right)

Imho the place served one of the best prata I had locally. You are lucky that you get to go there often.

The Prata shop has reopened after renovation. This is what I had today taken with NEX 5N and Zeiss 24mm

My fren say very noisy but to me this is considered a miracle for an APS-C camera liao.

:bsmilie: When my dad first tried my A55(indoor at night), he commented "Why the viewfinder so noisy?" ...he went to his room and proudly brought out his 500d, point it at the same spot he was aiming the A55 at earlier and realised that he couldn't focus let alone see anything thru the OVF ...Next day, he went out and bought an A55.

looks around few places, can't find intervalormeter for NEX,
beside the TempusNEX... which is very expensive IMO...

currently got a cheapo 2 button IR remote, thinking of mod it with timer circuit...
