Handheld twilight mode pano stitched of 4 vertical shots
iso at 5000-6400, will never able to get this kind of clean shot even with d700 at iso 5000

EOW said it was done with HandHeld TwightLight + manual stitching (from 4 vertical shots). It requires additional software and I dont think he mention about sweep pano

Rasdeep is correct the pano is manual stitched.
Luna the pano mode can also shoot in up down ,down up or right to left.
U can change the mode of pano in the menu. Last but not least u can chose the default 16:9 perspective or the wide mode

No, of course not. It's a full manual lens, no power, etc.

better than d700 at high iso??..

It taken in twilight mode , the camera by default will minimize the noise thru stacking method
I had d700 and often take at ISo 5000 and 4000
