Photos taken by Pentax cameras for tech. discussion - Season VII

Part of the purpose getting a camera (and actually using it) is to cover the family over the years.

So if your children has a small milestone, you can either 'just take a shot' (probably a HP nowadays) or "Take a Shot" and make that difference when you view if years later.

Nice capture JK. Once the kids have grown bigger and in Secondary school, it will be harder to capture moments as they tend to avoid being photographed. Speaking from experience .

Congrats!

And on a Pentax too (despite all the Pentax don't have this or that kind of theoretical arguments we always see on the internet)

Had not used taken this lens out for a workout for several years. Hence decided it time to take it out for some sunshine . This lens is small ( without the hood, which is not too long either ) hence portable. The focal length becomes too long for my liking on aps-c body. However it is a different story when mounted onto the K-1. I find it becomes quite versatile, the colours are good and it prodcues a smooth bokeh when stopped down to f/4. I find its not always necessary to shoot wide open. It very much depends on the situation. For photographers who still want to enjoy old style of photography, then no need to look any further for this len, K 135mm f/2.5 . To me, part of the joy of photography is to experience the manual focusing of the lens, the turning and to depress the shoot button at the precise moment.

Many has said that this is a highly under-rated lens, and i cannot agree more. Its quite sad that this lens has been ignored in the modern world of auto focus photography. So those who wants to re-live the joys of manual focusing, do get this lens should one be available for sale. Furthermore its not very expensive. Cheers !!

Wow congrats! Great work and thanks for keeping people knowing that Pentax still can produce good work :)

Q7+Fisheye.

Superbly versatile as a small cycle travel package.
Q7, 02 zoom, fisheye.
Too bad the 08 never got cheaper.

Wow nice shot with the Q7!!
