Looking at this 3 shots composite ( Multi 3 exp setting), something not feeling right.
Tamron 10-24 @15mm f13 8sec x 3 ISO100 from at barrage first covered post nearest to GBB East side.

Comments please, seem not sharp,

preferred this one at 15sec x 3 expos

Yellow sky I guess could be the composite stray lights from city lights reflected on the overcast clouds.

:)

Thanks for advise, yes, will be going back there, perhaps waiting for a clear evening , which I afraid could be less with the haze coming on the way.:)

The shot was not stitched but in camera composite of 3 shots, perhaps the composite of 3 long exposures made the composite too bright and yellow also , I had one shot of which the sky was blue, I thought it had something to do with the clouds reflecting yellow city lights maybe I am wrong.:)

Thanks again

I have to go!!! by kengoh8888, on Flickr

Oh niceee....u just back from bkk? Hows situation there? I going mid june but others province....any advise??

I went that day is the 1st day of martial law, I'm totally not affected as I went str8 to forest and National Parks, as long as you dun visit those unsafe areas and dun wear red or yellow shirt should be fine. The only thing to worry of is flight delayed, just remember to buy travel insurance to cover all these and bring some cash or credit cards in case need to prolong your stay due to flight delay.

Nice attempt.
I wish more guys are less shy like you about posting photos here and talking about improving them (and improve their skill level in the process)
Composition :
I think it can be improved with a basic rule of thirds placement of the horizon.
One problem here is that there is no interesting point in the waters nor the sky (eg. reflection or fiery sky)
So both water and sky does not add much to the photo except a mass of black (or yellow in this case)
Maybe think about a 16x9 format landscape crop.

Otherwise, it can help to work a bit to find some foreground or find some sort of leading line towards the CBD area.
I like to think of it like a "As if the object is looking at the backround"
Eg. The rock is looking at the CBD

For me, the workflow would be pretty generic.

1. Get WB right first (on your RAW converter)
The shot is too yellow.
Check the WB or play around to get the right one.
You may also need to add more magenta to offset the yellows.

If you can afford the time, why not try those out and post the adjusted photo and we can see how it goes. :)
