Is the 100mm F4 a macro and why used a bellow?

This is what am talking about. I got the bellow but never use it.

this M 100 f4 is a macro with 1:2 magnification. Bellow works like an extension tube. So 100 mm bellows will give 1:1 mag.

Nice play with the lighting and DOF for isolation.
