btw - if you move the closed-up picture up and down, the tiny eyes seem blinker, due to aliasing effect of the screen pixels and eyes' 'pixels'
good for detecting movements
though the brain must be
very busy
decoding myriads
of visual signals

Looks like the Brenizer technique came in handy.....
K30; FA*85/1.4
Its interesting to see that for the portraits, there were like 3 sets of medium format film cameras being used (not in photo).
Perhaps for such formal and important occasions the Japanese still want it on good quality medium format film (esp prints)

Great sharpness on all persons front and back row! You used Brenizer technique on this shot? how? everyone got to stay very still to take the many shots needed,
