Just noticed the man on the bottom right was sitting on AIR!!! you see what the camera saw, no pp on that.

Seems like he was about to sit down when you took the shot.

Hi everyone,

Great job on the photos here! Some amazing local and regional pictures! I haven't had time to take local landscapes but I've been really fortunate this year to get to travel for work and to take a few days off following the work event. I'd like to share a few shots of the details of arches I took inside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The inside was dark, and I had to run the K7 at high ISO that I typically dislike. Even then I had to brace myself against a wall for support. Took a bit of PP to get reasonable color and lightness out of the shots.

Gothic Arches
K7, DA15ltd, f5.0, iso 1600, 0.3s

Arches behind the main altar
K7, DA15ltd, f4.0, iso 800, 0.2s

Stained Glass.

felix, that's what's most probably was happening. but the angle of the body bending, and the concentration of the guy on the hand-held device still gave me some doubt.
moreover, his body did not appear to be in motion when caught in the picture.

but, in the end of the day, no big deal lah..... just one of those "lucky" moments we caught something which was kind of intrigueing.

Some shots at the British Museum with the Sigma 10-20 f/4. I think its my most used lens.

Just to share an observation...

It seems latest firmware for the K7 has upgraded the raw to jpeg conversion. I was out two weekends ago at Pasir Ris and saw the outline of a bird across the river. Harsh lighting, could not tell what bird it was, but I took three shots anyway. Went home, thought the shots were no good, but played around with the in-camera raw conversion, and out came a not-unpleasant picture of a female Asian Koel. I tried repeating the conversion in a few raw converters on my PC, but could not get anything close to the in-camera conversion. to Pentax!

I really miss the K5.
From the smoothness of moving from one camera control to another to the quality of its RAW file.
Its really a hard camera to beat even after 2 yrs.
