Another new lighting diffuser.
A large leftover takeaway plastic container, cut at the back to slot in the flash and with the inside lined with aluminium foil.
Foam 'paper' on the front.

My first encounter of a stick insect, I believe, which has fallen from above, into the web of the spider. I happened to be at the spider's web when the incident happened and shortly thereafter, you could see the spider appearing for its meal:lol:, very fast..

The stick insect is about 6 inches in length and I got it removed from the web to ground zero for some portrait taking and released it back to the wild again:D

Good catch. this stick insect look like a young branch. those that i had seen are more woody in colour. congrat!

Kamfei, Tks.. Here, this was my first encounter of a stick insect..about 6 inches in length, how to go into macro mode. stood back more than a metre to capture in full length..
