Sometimes we can be bogged down by 'anality' and gear worship.
You know those times.... "I need a proper flash unit" ; "I need a proper Gary Fong Whale tail"; "Nothing does it other than that $80 piece of translucent plastic to place in front of my Metz58" , etc


I attended a recent birthday party and decided to do it 'light'
K5; DA40XS and a 77ltd.
No flash.
The cake cutting was kinda late and indoors, so I wanted some 'insurance' for my shots by using flash.
Got into the kitchen to 'lend' some aluminum foil, folded it into 6"x6" square and bounced off the built-in flash from it onto the ceiling using PTTL.

K5; DA40XS; f2.8, 1/80; ISO800

Bro , maybe u need to tilt yr camera a bit when u compose . The left and the right side is a bit imbalance
