thanks for sharing! great work on the processing, it was flawless man, couldnt tell it was blending. how did you manage to mask out the fireworks so perfectly? i always find it difficult to do masking as the edges are always not mask properly...

I've found that 'Chinese' system is very hard for the "aspiring baby photographer".
Even worse if its Chinese + KS/KS (kiasu/kiase) Singaporean system.
Cannot take off baby clothes; environ too cold (even with the weather these days); posing will sprain the neck; flash will blind baby; etc, etc, etc.

So every session is planned ahead. I set up everything under the fan.
Natural light if I can, bounced or umbrella flash if I need them.
Test that the prop and lighting is ok, then, turn off the fan, start to prepare baby and take the shots fast.
All this activity w/o the fan is really quite hot.

b patient!

haven't done the morning neighborly walk cum shoot for quite some time..... read on

Some harsh white spot from the flash. would be better with some additional diffusers to soften the light. Nice composition though.

Hi guys, it's been too long since I posted anything. Here are some shots taken with my K5 last month when I was back in my hometown Kuching, Sarawak.

I think it's time to upgrade my FAJ 75-300 to something faster and sharper, tamron or sigma 70-200 f/2.8?
