Great shots Bro...your passion for this is really strong. Keep it up.

Thanks bro.

Cool stuff, Kengoh! Looks like the waiting in the hide paid off pretty well. I would like to try birding in a bird hide too, but not dedicated enough to spend that kind of time and resources yet. :bsmilie:

Thanks bro Gengh. :)
Shooting in the hide is fun but my knees are tired, squatting all the way, must get a portable stool along next time. :sweatsm:

Wow, this is wide! The previous time I took this angle with the DA14mm, it didn't come anywhere close to this.

Saw this Long-tailed Shrike yesterday on my way home after lunch but don't have a chance to shoot it, since this morning i have some time, went back to try my luck and found it was there. A very friendly bird that did not mind me one bit.

Taken at Punggol or Rosewood Drive?

Was with Loke birding this morning & found this Coppersmith Barbet pecking a hole on the tree, preparing to nest.
Both the male & female take turns to work. :sweatsm:
Even have time to take video of it ;p

Focus stacking experiment:

based on a composite of 2 shots, one focused on the head, one focused on the rear segment.

K5, Vivitar 2x macro converter, Sigma 50mm macro, AF160 ringflash, monopod, slightly cropped to improve composition
