As we were walking back to the hotel getting ready to leave for Ninh Binh, I caught sight of this gentleman on my right side smoking a long Vietnamese pipe.
I grabbed my tua leng kong and gave him a shot.

On our way to Ninh Binh, we past a small little lane by the road side with a few small houses.
Adrian again instructed us to all De-bus because the photographic opportunity has arisen.
We all guai guai walked down.
Little did we know we would be met with wonderful display of affection from the Vietnamese children.

Here is chubbykei, Jim and our ever-trusty Vietnamese guide Tommy... taking a shot of the scene.

And which one of us can forget this very friendly girl cycling to and fro, to and fro and waving to us... just so that we can catch a nice shot of her?
Such spontaneity!

This is one very important shots of our vehicle together with its license plate number.
It was taken on our way to Nim Binh.
This shot's main purpose was for the benefits of some of the good brothers and sisters in our team
who have a knack for numerical figures and are very good in making the most of these numbers.

Together with these pictures SereneXMM #15 and limwhow #29, I am sure this photo would certainly give us some inspiration for this coming Saturday and Sunday.

The Vietnamese model always not looking at me. So sad. So try my luck on buffalo portraiture. I think at least it response.

Hi limwhow , Love your photos ,very nice bokeh .Do you mind to share what cam and lens you are using ;)

Hello Samchong.
I use Canon cameras.
For this trip I brought:
* 1DsMkIII w 16-35mm f/2.8
* 1DMkIII w 70-200 mm f/2.8 + 1.4x Extender
* 20D w 10-17mm Fish eye

But honestly, many of the photographers in this very good team have 'been there and done that' already. So their gears have been streamlined over their years of experience.
And thus I was really a laughing stock.
The most newbie are usually the ones with the most camera gears.

And thank you for your praises.
The experienced photographers are miles ahead of me. Haha...!

Perfect timing and his expression a great sign of satisfaction
The Tua Ling Kong lens really has its value added. Very nice bokeh and nicely composed.

Divinemoment, many thanks again for appreciating my humble work.

Hmmm, you are good with the buffalos.
Must be your charm...
I have not much luck with neither Vietnamese model nor Vietnamese Buffalos... hahaha...!

Here is my share of an IR shot of the small road side stop-over at Nim Binh.

Er... my dream scene of a pretty Vietnamese girl in white Ao Dai riding a bicycle on the road and looking back sweetly at us never materialise.
This is the best I could do.
But I am happy enough.

I was told that there is a high chance of such shots if you were to station yourself outself a school during dismissal time. ;)

I was in Hanoi from 1-4 June, not sure if I bumped into you guys. Nice reliving through this thread.
