btw anyone can recommend affordable hotel (between 50SGD - 100SGD per person per day ... 100SGD is probably too high, will confirm range again) and good chartered minibus service in singapore? will be bringing my prof, my colleague in my course and my prof's year 4 students to singapore for a short study tour (maybe around 3 days) at the end of october. probably around 10 persons, details not confirmed yet, just asking around for good lobang first ;p btw for hotel don't recommend geylang area one hor :bsmilie: somewhere close to city will be good

Can try the YMCA or YWCA in Ft Canning. Maxi-cab is $35 per destination or $200~$300 per day.

will be structured tour ... meaning there'll be fixed destinations (at least 4 destinations) everyday (for at least 2 days, and 1 day free and easy i suppose ...) i think full day booking for the structured tour more like it ... if i allocate around $1000 to be shared by around 10 persons, each person around $100, sounds ok for full day chartering right? still checking out the transport companies' websites ...

actually hailing down cabs will be cheaper ... even calling will be cheaper ... but not safe to travel in separate groups, their command of English is quite jialak :sweat:

Well, might want to consider sharing 2 to a room, assuming the gender works out or they don't mind.
