Anyway, the key word is planning, must see how is the banding first, worst thing is the banding is diff from cam to cam and once you fire off the first shot, it is considered yours and if got banding, have to sent to NSC.:thumbsd:

I think banding will still occur , depend on how serious it is. got short banding and long banding. I doubt there r 0% banding problem in the d200.

yeah I know, call up CP and they told me depands on luck. One of their customer bought the D200, paid, got the cam and load in the CF card, fire off a few shots and download the image onto his laptop. Loooooong banding!!!!!! No choice, from CP straight go to NSC and sent it in for repair;p ;p

heh..yeah..so its either u buy now.. or wait till nikon release annoucment that they solve the problem ( which duno when,or they wont :bsmilie: ).

I bought it 2nd day of launch. mine got banding problem, but doesnt hurt me that hard yet. heh. No regret getting it. :thumbsup:
