How come got some angle , macham u all on the other plane , same height one ah ? Or trade tickets can go helicopter ride then can take same height pics har ?:bigeyes:

dun bother to drive there....just take bus 89, stop at cargo complex, Changi exhibition center is just next to it.

if you cross the road, u will see the SAF ferry terminal, on the right side of the ferry terminal is the best place to shoot flying display

Bus 89 bus stop is on Sengkang side. Take 83, once crossed TPE, alight and cross the road to the other bus stop.

Have to wear smart casual... ie. polo shirt can. Preferably no jeans and no sneakers. You don't want to give them an excuse to chase you off to change...

yah.. i saw people in jeans and polo-t. But don't risk it. Cos different days might have different people on duty with different interpretation of what attributes "biz attire".

A passeneger on the bus, on his way to AA2006, told me he was being refused entry for the previous (or prev prev) show when he turned up in jeans.

Wai didn't have problem entering yesterday, in the bare minimum business attire :bsmilie:
I wore pants and a short sleeved shirt.

Other AA2006 survival guide:
-Proper cushioned shoes is good.
-Bring your own water and food if possible
-Nasi bryani costs $6!!!!!!!! not recommended, if die die have to eat that.. ask for more rice more everything.. still $6 also
-canned drinks at $1.5
-normal soya bean and grass jelly (diluted) costs $1
- sun block if possible
- tripod is a waste of time and energy (no one told me and i brought along)
- wide angle useful for static displays
- 300mm not enough for air show. only enough for A380, it's that bad...

For static display, you'll need at least a 16-35 or 12-24... otherwise you have to move back and the barricades will be in the picture... But you will need a mid range one for the large aircraft display at WCA (A380, B-1B, KC-135, etc)

And of course a 400mm or 600mm for the aerial display. My puny 300mm was hardly enough.

i think the bigma 50-500 with 1.7x should be enough. when the A380 comes in can zoom out. when the fighters come in can zoom in.. 500 x 1.7 =850 ;p yummy.. with 1.5X crop.. 1275mm ;p;p;p
