B&W Jpeg mode with:
- Contrast: +9 (or +8, I cannot remember)
- Vignetting: strong
That's all and you can always change it in the B&W settings before you shoot as well.

Can this small small do night landscape ? When we went up at the roof top, we could not even see the mountain nor the white temple. there were few stars visible to our eye.
Set this camera for ISO400, f2.8 on the tripod. Stunning result better than I would have expected.
I think he wants to maintain a relatively fast shutter speed. If too slow the stars will appear as trail.

Hmm... Interesting setting you have chose! Could you share as to why ISO 400 since a tripod was used whereas "conventional" method would settle for lowest ISO possible immediately?
