It OOC Jpeg. Actually I shot RAW then converted to Jpeg directly on the Camera with this kind of setting:

B&W Jpeg mode with:

- Contrast: +9 (or +8, I cannot remember)
- Vignetting: strong

That's all and you can always change it in the B&W settings before you shoot as well.

Nice.. the last picture is snap focus? hehe.. Slowly learn, till now i have not fully grasp all the function of the Camera

The focus was not set to snap focus mode, but I did enable full press snap.

Can this small small do night landscape ? When we went up at the roof top, we could not even see the mountain nor the white temple. there were few stars visible to our eye.

Set this camera for ISO400, f2.8 on the tripod. Stunning result better than I would have expected.

Hmm... Interesting setting you have chose! Could you share as to why ISO 400 since a tripod was used whereas "conventional" method would settle for lowest ISO possible immediately?

I think he wants to maintain a relatively fast shutter speed. If too slow the stars will appear as trail.

Ah.... The stars! Even if the guess is wrong, at least I've learned something to take into consideration when shooting landscape.

Shooting star is different than star trail. I need to keep the shutter speed below 25s, and the largest aperture is f2.8. So I have to push up the ISO to have enough exposure.

Another night landscape with stars, taken at Sg Lembing last night. I was about to keep the tripod, suddenly the layer fog just move over, created a nice effect. What amazed me is that, with the light pollution coming behind the trees , I could manage to capture the stars on the sky.
