Wish they will come up with a FF Mirrorless in this shape?!

One taken a while back, Pentax sunrise outing organized by Edutilos!

Saw a cat sitting on a car on the way to visit relatives, and took a photo using my Ricoh GR :)

Some more poison from Chinese Gardens / Punggol Waterways... Click on the photos to view the original-sized images on flickr!

All-round details, sharpness and good DR despite the bright daylight.

HDR preset in DxO lifts shadows very nicely...

Very good details and colours in the tree bark!

Identify the history artifact!

There's actually some significant vertical movement in this partially-stabilized 6-second exposure, but I like the end result anyway!

The ricoh GR is great for close-ups too.

Very versatile little camera - i wasn't expecting much for the macro mode, i often found the macro AF slow and cranky but the MF mode is very awkward. but i was pleasantly surprised with the results this time. the AF did its job and the details and sharpness were very good.

A feeble attempt to capture star trails. Fun nevertheless!

Just to update Bernard on the GR and Raynox 250 performance. Last CNY I asked someone in my country make me a step down ring from 49mm to 43mm so that I could screw the Raynox 250 directly to the GH-3 without the need of Raynox plastic clamp. With the Raynox plastic clamp, it is a bit huge in front of the GR so the step 49-43 step down ring could help to make it much balance. Furthermore, because the Raynox clamp could not bring the Raynox close to the front of the GR lens, it is only workable with GR oririnal focusing distance from 10-17cm. From 17-30cm, the corner is vignetting heavily. With the Raynox mounted directly to the GH-3 through the step down ring, the full GR macro focusing distance 10-30cm could be used without any vignetting.

Here is the new mounting:

Anh here are the quick actual test result photos with this combination. Shot wide open @f2.8 and highest magnification:

Just to update Bernard on the GR and Raynox 250 performance.

Thanks! And as usual great imagery! Did you use AF or did MF with the Raynox attached?

Seems like the IQ is still very much preserved with the pairing. Of course, if you have got the A12 50, you don't really need to do this. Alternatively for a closeup, maybe can try M-mount extension tubes on the GXR A12 M? Might be interesting. ;-)

Oh ... great images Michael from UAE. I thought the B/W treatment was appropriate.

Let's continue to shoot with this marque, the swiss-army equivalent of a camera!
