Photo sharing thread from GR :)

Photo taken in Little India with the GR.
See the other thread for photos taken with K3.

I am very happy with both the cameras.

Both are nice.. hee..

Nice shots!
What's this smear in the upper left corner? It's in all photos.

Good question, I only realised it when I copied them into my laptop... I'm guessing it's a small piece of dust on the lens that I've blown it off after the trip, because I can't seem to reproduce it now. Will definitely make a visit to the service centre if it pops up in the future... fingers crossed.

Odd, if it was at the front lens element it shouldn't manifest itself that pronounced in the photos but it's good it's gone now.

Brought the Ricoh GR Special Edition for a trip.

The Zepellin Fields is the site of the Nazi party's Nuremberg rallies. The rallies were held from 1923 to 1938 and were considered REALLY BIG affairs after 1933 when Hitler became Chancellor.

#1 the reviewing stand, where the Fuhrer stood to deliver his speeches and to review the troops.

#2 and #3 similar to many "fascist" architecture built around that time, stone was used to great effect - standing before such a structure, u basically felt both intimidated and inspired, especially if you were surrounded by thousands of screaming and cheering people.

#4 the rear view of the audience seating. These structures ringed the entire field, providing elevated seating for the thousands of cheering Germans during the rallies.

Went Taiwan with just a Ricoh GR. This little camera is pretty amazing. Totally replace my DSLR.
