Chairman's strength sure can win liao!
Posting up possible (but very different photo op) ...
This Sunday, there will be an open archery competition at NUS. Shooting starts at ard 9 am and includes many different forms of taget shooting disciplines (both olympic style recurve shooting as well as super modern compound shooting).
Now I know this is unlike other sports; the competitors hardly move at all!!! as precision shooting always involves a great deal of 'non-movement', but at higher levels, despite long moments of seeming 'static-ness', a fleeting moment of technical triumph or emotion presents itself ... but often, just for a fraction of a second.
I am not competing in this particular competition but I was tinkering with the idea of taking pix and was wondering if anyone here with lenses longer than 400mm would like to join me?
It may be entirely boring ... or it may spark off an interest of a different kind.
At any rate, this (I guarantee) WILL BE ENTIRELY BORINGLY DIFFERENT challenge as taking good archery comp pictures is no easy feat as safety boundaries often dictate extreme limitations.
Anyone interested for the fun of it ... or the challenge?
PM me or SMS before Sunday.
