Update and added a few items
OK guy/gals below is a list of things that we need and the status. Pls add as you see fit.
1) drinking water - OK ( 5ctns )
2) printers and ink - OK
3) papers - I'll bring the paper cutter
4) masking tape - OK
5) laptop
6) cameras - lets confirm
a) Canon - more important
b) Nikon - too many
7) post-it pad - OK
8) A5 plastic bags - OK
9) walkie talkie - razin?
10)flashlight battries -Flashguns owners pls bring spare
11) flashgun - Camera owners pls bring your flashguns
12) Workstation - OK. Wai will work out the printing problem on site.
13) Weights for shooting station tentage-razin?
14) Ice box
15) Hammer head Flash( Metz 45: where is it? )
OT abit: poohbear, I saw you in "buy and sell" selling a Metz 45 CT4. Hope it is not mine :bsmilie:

just got a call from Salvation Army that NewWater have just approved their request for 21ctns of new water. That's 252 bottles of new water! ( we put in the request to NewWater last week on Tuesday) I'll be collecting it form them ( NewWater fty ) today. We can have water parade every hour now :bsmilie: .

Which is not the case, in fact some of us pay from our own pockets to fund this charity drive.
We CAN give it to them for a donation. Or drink it ourselves.

Let me double clarify as well for new readers and all our volunteers, THIS IS A 100% NON-PROFIT EVENT, every single cent from the donations goes directly to Salvation Army. A lot of the operation costs are shared between the volunteers. As for the drinks, suggest that we will come into concensus with the core volunteers for a decision..

with reference to the drinks, i think you may like to check with newater.
there might be guidelines on how they can be used. even if it is treated as a donation.
they might perhaps require you to use their name, or they may even not be comfortable with the item being used as a "sale for donation" item

with reguards to the NewWater, Salvation Army have said that if there is any leftover we can bring it back to the CC to be use for CC's other activities. So no sale of NewWater !.
I hope this will put an end to all the OT about the NewWater. We do not want others to think that we're doing sales and pocketing the money.
On behalf of the core group, I say again,
ALL MONIES COLLECTED WILL GO TO SALVATION ARMY FOR THE TSUNAMI DISASTER, 100% OF IT.
Except for sponsored items, all other cost is coming out of our own pockets.
