Anyway...I've really enjoyed myself over the past 2 weekends. Not only was it meaningful but I believe all of us had great fun too! Glad to know all of u!!!

For those interested in joining us for this purposeful event this weekend, please refer Post # 1 for details. This is the final weekend and we need all the help and support to meet the target!! It doesn't matter if you can only stay for a few hours 'cos every bit of effort counts!

Praying hard that we'll meet out target!!! :)

this is our last weekend so we need more volunteers. How's the strength now?

OK guy/gals below is a list of things that we need and the status. Pls add as you see fit.
1) drinking water - OK ( 5ctns )
2) printers and ink -OK but who will collect on friday before 8pm?
3) papers
4) masking tape
5) laptop
6) cameras
a) Canon
b) Nikon
7) post-it pad
8) A5 plastic bags
9) walkie talkie
10)flashlight battries

Wai,
we had a problem with the printing last weekend. I suspect it is the printer software ( colours came out too light by about 65% ). Hope you'll be able to help us with that.
Anything else anyone want to add?

I can settle item 2 , 4. Item 7 already settled . Manpower wise , already confirm the photographer , so the rest should not be a problem . Our Chief promoter will be avaliable from 1pm onwards for both days .

ok...will test out the printer first thing on saturday

btw, need a pillow or cushion to put below the table? :think:

Got something on sat leh, maybe can only drop by in the morning. I try to make up on sunday though :)
 

a bit boh liao this morning. Was thinking of a way to automate the copying of files, renaming etc at the shooting station. How about this?

#1 Program is always running

#2 When photo come through DPP, and is ok, drag and drop onto window

#3 The file gets automatically renamed, copied to the print folder and also moved to the sent folder

#4 All the directories etc can be configured

#5 Want to see one more time the pix after all this still can by double-clicking on the little thumbnail in #3

Actually can also print receipt, but I can't find any small printers. The 2 thermal prts I had for a project koyak already...
 

sometimes the photo need to crop manually before print and also need to resize and paste on a template contain sponsor logo, the latter part is handled by PS action, can the software do that too?

hehe :). I thought of automating the shooting station only leh. After that, the cropping and PP in PS still needs to happen manually at the printing station?
 

looks good, I suppose that it can be customized to do it as well, but sadly we are on the last stretch. I'll leave these things to the technical gurus

I've already got a seat cushion about 1ft by 3ft ready :sweatsm:
 

Ok this is the last stretch, our final weekend.

For the benifit of those new to this charity event.

We are still on for this weekend (Sat and Sun)
Official operating hours are from 9am to 9pm

Of course we have to setup before 9am on Sat
and after 9pm on Sun we will have to take it all down
and store.

It is hot work, if you look at the pictures posted
you will notice that we are all toasted.

We need all the help we can get, if you wish to volunteer

This weekend can we just have you and me doing the "sun dance"? I belive that last weekend there were too many people doing the dance and it was so dame bloody hot that some tourist did not go the the shooting point but stay under the bridge. :bsmilie:

As I gaze into the crystal ball (CNA), I forsee that we need more help to do the sundance on sat night. :sweat:
