walao uhhh if you saw it youre lick so damn damn damn damn lucky
im still waiting !!

i didn't actually see it .. i was watching Leverage on my PC and doing remote shooting .. i have to agree .. i think i'm lucky .. :)

tryin with F9.0 and 10min exposure .. i seriously hope i wont fry my sensor .. anyone can give any advice on this ? the sensor fryin part ..

oy,
that last pic...
your exposure is too much.... those are the normal stars showing streaks coz of earth's natural spin.

The red clouds have gathered up a lot now. Winds picking up too....getting lovely long exposures :)

Will try for another half hour before going home.

like I said... lots of clouds...getting lovely long exposure snaps of them

Those are star trails from the long exposure. Anyway contrary to whatever impression that hollywood might have left on you, a meteor shower is not what you think it might seems like. If you're lucky you might see a single meteor streak across the sky every few minutes. You might want refer to my previous posting in this thread.

It is best to take multiple exposure over a period of time and stack them instead to avoid the star trails. ;)

If the moon is high/bright, the glare will blot out the trails we are looking for?

something flashed across the sky...it was either a veryyyy short burst of lightning or one of the meteors...
Whatever it was, too fast for me to see... :P

how does meteor trail looks like??

the moon isn't very full today.. ?
i only know its really bright today

i wanna see it so bad ! =(

still nothing ! im getting irritated ! grrrrrrr !
all i see are just small teeny weeny stars.
lucky you all who saw it !

wonder how everybody else is doing @ changi and ECP

i think i just saw one
or was it a plane ?
it was shimmering and travelled for 3 to 6 seconds and disappeared

last shot for the night...
I doubt its going to be visible now... getting a little brighter... Am assuming within another half hour, it will be too bright to even bother taking pics.
