Pentaxians' Training Session - Sept 25th 2010, 130pm to 530pm!

ya i think next time can share the load and more of us can help in things like logistics.

Dun mind helping to carry stuff =)

So what was the good deal that I missed out on?

ya better get some official helpers the next time. i saw denis vehicle parked illegally in front of SMU while, i guessed he was looking for SMU attendant to open the seminar room while at the same time lugging his equipment. hope he didnt get a parking ticket. i also saw FW with 20-30 bags of mineral waters in front of SMU. I didnt know how he managed to transfer the water to the seminar room.

all in all, a good session and like the previous session learned a few tricks to enhance my final photographs output.

Thanks Denis & Feng Wei for a good outing and EMJAY for the coffee and tea!! I especially enjoyed the informal chit-chat session at the end of the training.

I am sorry to hear these issues. Indeed, the next time, we need to distribute the workload and call for volunteers as well. Let's learn from this experience to continue to improve the process. I am glad to hear from SeeFei on these; otherwise many of us would not have known about their effort and challenges. Thank you.

Thanks again for all who attended the training session, and of course big thanks to our creampuff again for the excellent job.

Here are some photos I snapped on the day.

Just to clarify, I was not parking illegally, neither was fengwei. I had already checked with the SMU person in-charge beforehand to offload there. Got the go ahead from the security as well... ;)
If we do another training in the future, the venue should have a projector that is able to go higher than VGA...

CP, trust me, not withstanding the parking issue, it is still better to have someone to help out. FW problem was not parking as i was his driver for that day. :sticktong

btw, why did the screen stop functioning after 5 pm?

Everyone has their game-face on, except Lawrance, grinning as usual.

Was Denis using the LX3 for video or for shoot + edit in class? Expect some video shorts?

Perhaps auto standby to prevent overheating

Greatly appreciate the effort of Denis, Feng Wei, Emjay and others:)

Besides the enlightening knowledge by Denis, i also like this phrase "Singapore Pentaxians are the most active group around the world!" said by Feng Wei.;)
