I don't know what the rules are relating to that, but personally, a photograph with a long description to link it to the theme is like a joke where you have to explain to people what the joke is about. Certain photographs (especially when it relates to photojournalism) do go hand in hand with some form of prose or write-up, but essentially at the end of the day, a photograph should still be able to stand on its own.I just submitted my entry but I didn't including a description.
I am afraid that the recipient can't relate my photo to the theme.
What should I do?
