I think the local shops don't really care that much about the Pentax market here. So small and kinda insignificant. At least if I ever need any 3rd party lenses for my Pentax camera, I know where to go now. Sigma's local distributor emailed me back on my enquiry on the availability of the 18-50mm F2.8 with a negative remark, saying that they won't be bringing it anytime soon since no market demand for it.:thumbsd: Or the 50-500mm.

I saw the Sigma 18-50mm at OP on Monday evening. Brought my camera there today to buy it and it has been sold! They told me they do not know when the new batch will come as they do not get many pentax-mounted lenses.......the next time it comes I will have to pay GST...sigh....
Anyone here bought the only pc there?

That's another reason that you should wait for the Pentax DA*16-50/2.8 instead

OP is able to get the Pentax 31mm in both colors, but the price is ungodly... 1500 for silver and 1650 for black...

Went to OP today. Their service is just A++. For the 1st time in Singapore, I get sincere service from any camera shop:thumbsup: Saw a K10D bro getting Sigma 17-70mm and one who was asking about K10D

Here are 2 macro lens I was quote, but they need to be pre-ordered. But the guy say he'll bring in some Sigma 105mm

Tamron 90mm Di - $570 OP (3 yrs in house warranty)
Sigma 105mm - $560 OP (1 yr international warranty)

These prices are for March, cause they'll have to charge GST tomorrow onwards. So if you pre-order today, no GST:thumbsup:

OP is making an impact because us Pentax users have a wide choice of lenses because of them. Try getting a 50-500mm from Cathay and hear what they say...
