Bro.. with that price do u need to trade-in?
And does SLR facilitate installment?

SLR Revolution just called me back, clarifying that the lens price quoted to me earlier is not $449, but $419. this is great! now the total price should only be $1757 nett. credit card installments have to add 4.1%.

they never mentioned anything about trade-in.

Newbie to CS and had been following this thread since beginning. Almost bought an EP2, but got poisoned here.
Just reach home after visiting MS Colour at AMK. Serve by Florence, excellence service! Bought K7 ($1350), twin lens kit ($439), two Hoya filters, screen protector etc. I am retired and past 55. I am hopeful that you guys out there using Pentax can help me when I need help regarding K7 in my posting. Now moving to opening those boxes.
Thank You Fengwei.

Congrats on the new cam and lenses :) Those are certainly great deals, I'm sure you'd enjoy using them for a long time.

Do join our monthly outing when you are free and are willing to chitchat w/ us bunch of kids ;)

Cheers and happy shooting.

Oh man, for that crazy price, my K7 suddenly looks even more precious now

Yea, most do. I only want the 18-55WR. Either someone buy the pair and sell me that, or arrange to meet at the shop and spilt the pair there.

I guess we can go there together in a big group, so we can buy a few sets of twin kit lenses, then just split on spot

many just want the 50200WR... especially k-x owners...can they just sell this at discount price ?

It's $289 for K7 buyers/owners, less than 50% of its original price. You can always ask some one to help w/ the purchase :)

me! I can help, but due to scheduling problems, I might go on during the night only. :)

I can bring my k-7 whenever I'm available. :)

Daiso wan very lousy.Bought one before:thumbsd:

i'm using one currently ... tot it was way too thick when i first applied it on my k-x :bsmilie:

tot it was the main layer sandwich between 2 films but end up total 2 layers only ... pay for wat i get i guess

And I keep buying the wrong size :(

don't be mislead by the number on the cover. its not the diagonal dimension in inches. its the code! There is a table on the wall indicating the actual size of the screen protectors based on the code. Check what you need and buy according to the number although many of the large sizes are unavailable. I also bought a few "3 inch" films which turned out to be for small handphone screens :embrass:

Yes.. I know the K-x is 2.7" so I look for a 2.7" protector... problem was it was sized for the 16:9 video camera screens!
So I bought another 2.7" protector this time 4:3 for QVGA screen, then I realise it covers just the part of the screen that has the pixels.. the K-x screen is larger than tbat because of the borders.
So next time I pass by Daiso's I have to look at the exact dimensions for something near 60 x 49mm

But do the Daiso ones come off easily without leaving any mark? Do they also stay put without peeling off soon enough at the corners? Other than size, why are the Daiso ones not so good? I was thinking of the Daiso ones myself cuz I had seen them on an earlier visit at just $2 and I thought they were available cheap... so am glad I saw this thread.

go to lord's lucky plaza, they had something for my k20d.. that should be the same (or close to) as the k-x? i think.

They are ok lah. I was using them for my previous K100, K200, K7 and Kx..;)
For $2, you can afford for them to peel off more often although in my case, they stayed on all the time. Only difference is because they are thin, tend to accumulate bubbles during installation but you will not see it when the LCD is on. :)
