Pentax K3 -Probably the most advanced APS-C DSLR is launched!

in another way, it is to give you chance to purchase your own favourite SD card to put in in there. so you can be happy with your own selection.
:bsmilie:

FLU card ...... ahhhchoooo!!! :p

those who think they can get cheaper overseas, will be burned when they know the actual street price here when it is launched. soft private launch - 8th Nov. in the retail shops, 11th or 12th NOV.
dont forget, you still need to pay for shipping, and also, WARRANTY NOT COVERED FOR UNITS BOUGHT OVERSEAS.

locally, we also add original PENTAX CAMERA CASE O-CC90 and 8GB SD card Class 10 all, worth another $80 over dollars. which overseas dont do.

how to join the private launch?

Will we get discounts for the new HD lenses when buying the new K3? :P

Drool worthy... ok what do I do with with my current K-5IIs?

If you are a photographer, then excel the k5iis to take many great pictures.
If you are a cameraman, then keep the k5iis and keep buying new cam - K3

:)

Mr Khaw.... will the HD DA lenses be available on the same day??

Seems like the camera slows down when using two SD Cards? :dunno:

You have local warranty. makes a lot of difference if there are issues arising later.:) Support local la..if price difference isn't much;)

If got a high difference then I skip but one more that makes me feel like giving up my K30 is focus peaking

That user was shooting with the intention of writing the same file to both cards.

Another guy reports pretty snappy response.
But more normal usage card wise...

Anyways, I'm sure nothing the firmware couldn't handle. Don't think it has anything to do with processing speed but perhaps more of the manner the files are handled.

Should be...
I don't store my files on camera this way (ie. same RAW to both cards), never had a camera with 2 slots anyway :D
I know some folks with dual slots like shooting JPG to one, RAW to the other, so if that's fine, I guess it satisfy most ppl until a firmware update.

I got to look less at the K3 info, becoming too tempting.. :D
