How much is the special edition?
If I'm not wrong, the GP Edition includes body, batt grip, strap and lens.
I might be wrong about the lens, but I'm pretty sure about the rest.

Well, the box contains the body and the grip. I guess even the salesman doesn't know what he's selling :bsmilie:

Heard it's between 1.5 to 1.6k at MS color, and slightly higher at CP
Very good price from MS color I'd say.

Maybe it's just the ONE BOX thing, and the GP box isn't much bigger than the normal K10D one. That might give the saleslady a wrong impression.
Don't worry, when you buy the K10D GP, you'll find the matching battery grip in the box

Not too sure yet... Waiting 4 yr end bonus then buy...
But not cfm yet whether to get the normal K10D or the GP edition as yet...

Well, bought my set today for $1599 with no freebie.
Actually I don't mind have the 2G card or not, rather go buy Extreme IV 4G ones.
So far pretty satisfied, just a little heavy and yet to get used to.
Oh, using rechargeable really troublesome, need to charge 2 batts after purchase, it takes 5-6 hours;(
I'll test for few more days if everything still fine will buy the DA*s and flash light.
