Pentax K-X

.... i paid $79 for my sandisk class 4 16gb:sticktong

You might wanna try waiting outside SLRR/OP/Manly for someone buying the dual kit but you'll have to be very very patient:bsmilie:

That's like equivalent to waiting for durians to drop. Now dual kit lens mostly out of stock :(

Anyone of you encounter shooting RAW in multishot on Patriot LX Series 32gb? Becos whenever i shoot RAW in multishot, the camera will state busy and then a while later, the of error "The Card Cannot Be Accessed, Please Reinsert/Format the Card" appear. Anyway, i just brought it to the distributor for 1-for-1 exchange but stock not yet arrive, shall monitor again.....btw, i did send an email to the Patriot customer support.

It's a crappy card, pure and simple. You just wasted your money. Read the reviews... and stick with Sandisk.

Have talked to the shopowner, if the exchanged card still the same problem, he will allows me to get other brand of card, luckily he do carry sandisk as well but not the extreme.

Your kit lens is good enough.
Otherwise I suggest the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 which will replace your kit lens.
Or get the all rounder Tamron 18-250, maybe at some expense of image quality though.

Why dont you get the twin lens kit instead, much more worth it.

Tamron 18-250 will cost from $450(no warranty) to $600?(with warranty).Tamron and Sigma are both 3rd party makers, but IMO the Tamron is better:)

or buy the White K-x kit and the 50-200 separately like one of us did here . . .

er, that makes me the 2nd then? :D

From one of the threads got someone who bought the navy blue dual lens lit from AP. So looks like there are dual kits with the 4 colours in SG . . .

So you should be the 1st to buy separately . . .

so im i right to say 50-200 is good enough for walkabout-shooting ?
another thing is i own a restaurant and need a lens for dishes-shooting like macro.. can i use the dual lens kit as well ?
sorry all brothers im really a noob to dslr

The 18-55mm can do it too . . .Not macro but close enough

Sure, the DA 50-200mm is excellent at walkabout shooting
You might be able to get by with using the DA 18-55mm kit lens for shooting close-ups. If you need to focus closer, a simple close-up filter mounted on the front of the lens can do the job but a dedicated macro lens would be great.
I'd recommend a macro lens of about 35 to 50mm in focal length as it offers a good balance of angle of view and shooting distance to the subject.

FA 50mm f/2.8 Macro

any ideas how much will a macro lens cost ? jus a normal one will do
