Thanks, it went thru but why is it asking for payment to registered ($68 1 year)? weird right?

Quite often I press the LV button wrongly when I actually wanted to preview the last shot on display... hmmm, other than that this is pretty good camera and the 18-55mm kit lens is damn sharp. haven't tried on the 55-300mm lens yet. Just completed the firmware upgrade but registration got error stating Invalid or has been registered? can't be right? I bought it brand new.
Anyone hit this problem before? waiting for Emjay to reply email since Friday.

I had the same problem, cant register.
I emailed them and they replied & solved the issue over the weekend.
And ignore the $ part, just submit as per normal.
Unless you want extended warranty, then you pay the $ after.
Dont worry about it.
The problem is I can't even able to register. The system doesn't accept e serial no I entered. Will only have to give them a call
Just thinking - the problem of registering with Emjay(be it the warranty number registration and extended warranty) has been there for a long time.
Also the last time I log into Emjay site, saw only K-7. No mention of K-x the hot selling product.
Even the Malaysian web promotes the K-x too. Sigh..
Not sure if Emjay reads this and bother to do anything about it.

Hi,
I got a question about my pentax K-x.
Pls pardon me if the question is totally not in line with photography or is senseless.
coz i know very little about camera.
when i try to take a shot at home of my son. sometime the photo appear too dark or too bright.
btw, i'm using the M function or the AV function.
do i adjust the brightness or darkness using the EV button beside the green button +/- 1 to 3?
or do i play ard with the shutter speed, iso and aperture?
last time when i use the AV function, then i use the EV +/- to adjust the brightness.
then yesterday when my cousin, a nikon's user. teach me how to use the M function. he advice me to play with the shutter speed, iso and apeture.
so is both way ok to adjust the brightness?
coz i think shutter speed slower, the photo brighter. but my son dun stay stationary, therefore to get the right brightness, sometime he move abit then photo blur.
Pls advice.![]()

Please post the pixs here so we can help you. By asking and not showing we cannot tell . . .
Normally i use Av mode and I adjust ISO, Shutter speed and aperture . . .
To shoot kids w/o using flash, you probably need a speed at least 1/50 or 1/60s. Just base on this one and the max aperture of your lens, adjust the ISO to a value where you can achieve 1/60s. If you are using the kit lens 18-55, it's pretty slow lens for indoor use, better get a slightly faster lens if you like to shoot indoor w/o flash.
Since your kids are with you all the time, don't shoot him when the light condition isn't good. Just wait for a better day, take the kids outside and you'd be amazed how the photos turn out to be.
Good luck and happy shooting.
