Think if this K-S2 is half the weight of the K3 but with all the K3 bells and whistles, I am sold. I will want to get one. I need a lighter load without giving up my DA* lens. =) Think the FF looks rather beefy guess the weight also will be either same as K3 or heavier.

If I didn't have a K3, I'd definitely get this one.

Hack, even I have K3, I might just get one. It's smaller, lighter, got everything I needed in a K3, and some more (Wi-Fi, swivel screen, better looking ... ). Plus the new 18-50 DC WR RE lens, it's gonna be the best travel combo.

Still not out yet, right? Didn't see any review of this camera in dpreview. I suppose it can replace my trusty K7, which is still good. At USD800; would be slightly over S$1k. What's the latest news on this one?

No news yet.. It's been very quiet from our distributor. However, I do see the KS-1 and QS-1 at store..

I think it's EXACTLY the reason why you don't see the KS-2 yet..

Coz if they can't sell the KS-1, they're screwed.. LoL!

If it's true, better pray they are able to sell enough to cover inventory cost of KS-1, or never get to see the KS-2 on our shores. ;D

those that wanna buy will wait for K-S2, but the shops waiting to clear K-S1 stocks before selling K-S2?

sounds like chicken & egg situation here...

maybe better off giving a discount for K-S1 and bring in K-S2 at the same time.. will increase Pentax user base.. then slowly entice new comers to the Limiteds...
