bought the body at 1499(inclusive GST). w 128MB n bag. good value considering HK is also ard the 1450.
handing was good. really small n light compared to the rest of the DSLRs.
bright viewfinder(esp w a 50,1.4). good grip. the build feels good. dun feel cheap. interface was easy to access. separate FN key for impt stuff like WB n ISO, so pretty easy to acess.
tried it with my M42 lens and work perfectly(minus the AF and u need to stop down to focus), gg to get the 16-45 this weekend.
Heard from the JnJ rep that the 50, 1.4 is discontinued though, so pentax is probably coming up with a new range of lenses soon for the cam. Think cathay still have some 50,1.7. not sure... have to go find out this weekend.
time to get some sleep, install the prog tmw.
maybe upload some pics as well over the weekend.
CHeeRS!!!

The view finder and LCD screen really improved a bit from the D version, and felt the writing speed is a little bit faster too. It's really light and tiny :bsmilie: Put on the kit lens (18-35mm), it's almost weight as a prosumer cam.
But for now, I'll keep its big brother lah![]()
Cheers!
