You don't use the lens hoods?

Still no news of the DA 15mm LTD ... Does Pentax update their roadmap every quarter?

How come the 35mm not in the pix? Cos' not slim enough as compared to the original 3 musketteers? :-)

Coz the 35mm is on the camera shooting them. ;) Thanks, for reminding, next time I shall do one with 4 in it.:)

 that is . It's easy to do it with the Ltd lenses and you have shown it can be done with the FA* lenses:sweat:.

wahaha.. cool sia... nt scary meh? haha....

Guys, what I see is fragile money here... and if it falls, they shatter!

Kekeke... man, are you guys starting to have nothing to photograph, and trying to play legos with your FA*?! Hahaha...

fengwei, you should show out ur super star 300/2.8 FA* here, not above 3 small stars:cool:

No wonder people like pancake lenses.

It is much more secured to play legos with pancakes.

I wish I had that monster, but can't have it yet. Will definitely consider buying one when the kids grow up abit. Now I need to pus aside some load capacity for baby stuff when we are out in the field :)

I'm clearing up my "OEM" stuff and building up the pancakes...heh heh
But want to see what you all think of the Tamron 90mm vs the DA70mm? My primary concern is IQ and size. With the pancakes, I can squeeze the entire collection into my small bag whereas my Sigma 18-50 occupies almost the whole bag. Of course best if I can get a DA70 in the end (anyone selling ? :bsmilie:)

BTW, I noticed that my DA21mm pictures is not as sharp as the DA40mm both wide open or stopped down by 1. But then looking at Fengwei's pics, it should not be the case. I use programme mode most of the time and occassionally Av but of course if a tripod will help I can consider using it in future.:)

It may have backfocus? DA 21mm seems to have this concern. Try moving up the f stop instead of shooting straight from 3.2? I think there's a link in DP forums that suggests a way to go around this issue.

If you are using the K20D, then even easier, just do the necessary calibration.

I was selling my DA 70 at such a good price. And prior to mine, someone's selling even cheaper. I am not too sure you'll find one now (if you are in a hurry).. especially cos' the DA70mm in my opinion was the best of the DA LTD.

There's a FA 77 though in BnS. Why not that one? That's actually pretty small as well, though obviously not pancake.

Just to say I was the one who took hjbyeo's DA70 :)

Had fun with it on an outdoors photo-shoot for friends last Sunday; they needed some 'action' shots for their company site. Love the lens - sharp, small, light.. oops, here I go again. I am a primes man, I guess.

I think FA77 is a bit more expensive; but the quality is there lah. But never tried it before.

Bro, are you following my footstep? :bsmilie:

Tamron 90mm and DA70mm are both sharp lens. Of course Tamron 90mm is a macro lens so other than portrait, it can double up to do macro.

Your DA21mm might have focus issue.
