Screw-thread adapter/tube cannot be used for LX7 due to the different design as shown below.
I believe the Adapter/tube manufacturer would need to produce something adaptable.

Wish you make a good decision after comparing your current LX3 with this new LX7.Thank you for the excellent summary. Will have to consider hard whether to upgrade to the LX7.
