I got my red GF1 when it first released in Singapore. Now come to think of it, I am quite glad I jumped the gun and got the GF1 as soon as it came out. Really enjoy using the camera for the past 1 month+ and the red GF1 seems to be very hard to find nowadays liao.

I will recommend to get your GF1 as soon as possible, u definitely wun regret it! Dun wait till its out of stock again!:)

Aaron, i should be getting it soon. But seems like stocks running out soon...you got yours?

same here~:) I have a difficult time when deciding to get 500D or GF1 as like "Sniper" or "Hand Gun", tried 500D but after I tried the GF1 at the road show, I'm very pleased by it and get mine on the spot. Today just play it with my friend and he also impressed by the ease of use and rich features.

p.s. heard that it's alrdy out of stocks again...

The 500D is a pretty fine camera but for me, the choice is very easy and straightforward. I used to own a Nikon D80 2 years back but sold off everything coz find it too big and bulky to carry around frequently. So when I 1st read about the M4/3, I was very excited about the prospect it will bring to us the consumers. I was initially going to get the Olympus E-P1 but I held off for awhile till the GF1 is released and after trying them both, my heart goes to GF1.:)

My friends were also amazed when I show them my GF1 and what it can do. This is what I always wanted, DSLR image quality in a compact body.:)

:thumbsup: Yeah~~~ and m4/3 can just mount most kind of lens with adapter which is a big key features~

Will the m4/3 standard become another standard mount system? (eg. canon, nikon also launch m4/3 camera)
If so, then the m4/3 lens range will be HUGE and EXCITING~~~~ :bsmilie:

btw, you have a great album at flickr, much to learn from ya~

Aaron, where did you take those photos? well taken. Which lens did you buy with gf1? pancake or dual lens?

Thanks bro! I have added you in Flickr as well. Your pictures are nice too!:) I think the m4/3 will definitely go mainstream, but might take 1 or 2 more years.

Thanks bro! I took them in Turkey 1 month back, was there on honeymoon. I bought the dual lens kit. Those pictures in my Flickr are taken mostly if not all with the 14-45mm kit lens.

this is really needed for other lens brands to come onboard and make lenses.

I just got it today @ $1330 with Pancake lenses.. Very limited stock with pancake..

I really love the GF1 after few shots.. So handy and light to bring around compare to my 'Big Canon' with L-lenses..

sadly, the lens is "just for display" purpose, and the price is unknown ==(the girl promoter). And I didn't have a chance to try it even with my own GF1 due to crowded ppl.

Afterward, went to Vivo Best Denki and spotted the the "45-200" tele-zoom lens with tag of SGD599. (as I searched at Amazon.com, this lens should be cheaper then the 14-45 kit lens rite? should around SGD430 as from Amazon.com)

Asked also about the 7-14mm and noted by SGD1600, never ask much due to the promoter "old-dog" attitude.
